Holy CRAP!!! Seven months since my last post?!? I guess this is gonna be a seasonal thing? That or I need to get my priorities straight, and who wants to do that.
Anyways… here be the first doodle for this years A Chicago Halloween piece. It’s a Tomte! That’s you’re only hint about what neighborhood I’ll be featuring this year. It’s one of my favorites, especially because it’s been the home to so many good friends. Now, go cheat and use the internets to figure it out.

A few photos of my lovely friends and family, who came out to support me at my show earlier this month. In case you’re wondering, I’m the goon in the tie.

Thanks again to everyone who came out, Color Wheel Studio for hosting and Melissa Garvey for the photos.

Also, if you purchased prints, and didn’t already make special pickup arrangements, they should be waiting for you at Virtu on Tuesday.

This work in progress is something of an accident. It came about while I was working on “A Chicago Halloween - Bucktown”. It nicely fit an idea I had always had for a piece, so I ran with it. I think it’ll be creepy awesome when it’s done (not that it’s far from complete now actually). Probably be my first straight black and white piece. Anyway, much work for Halloween to be done today. Laters.

Here it is. The latest piece in the “A Chicago Halloween" series, which debuted at my show "Tricks, Treats and a Teensy-Weensy Murder" last night.
I had a blast at the show, and the new work was really well received, so I’m going to go ahead and say it was a huge success. Seriously. I only had like 4 beers, so I’m pretty sure I wasn’t just imagining things. If I had been, there would have been way more ghosts and dragons (probably with lasers) in attendance.
I’ve added all my latest work to the Weirdnesses Shop, and here’s a little heads up - “The Bicycle Thief" and "Maxwell: Nanny #5" are going to be limited additions soon. Because of last nights show the prices will stay as they currently are displayed, and I’ll take as many orders as come in, but sometime in the next few weeks the prices on these two will go up, and I’ll set a cap on the number of prints that will be made. So get them while you can and before their prices increase.
Next week I’ll put up some photos from the show, as well as some of the other pieces that were on display. I’ll also start posting a breakdown of the  work that went into creating “A Chicago Halloween - Bucktown”.
Lastly, I just wanna say thank you to my wonderful wife, my family and my awesome friends for all of your support. And, a big shout out and thanks to DJ, Julie, Miller and Color Wheel Studio for hosting my show and all of your help. Thanks, Everybody!
Happy Friday the 13th! Laters.
